As the leaders going into Sunday started to faulter, not so with Australian Marc Leishman. He shot a -7 65 on Sunday to post a -15 for the Farmers Insurance Open win finishing 1 stroke ahead of Jon Rahm. This is Leishman’s 5th PGA Tour victory.
On the European Tour, Australian Lucas Hebert won his first Tour title at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic in a playoff with South African Christiaan Bezuidenhout. A record was also set at the Classic when Sebastian Soderberg went off first as a single, shooting 75, and he finished the round in 1 hour, 37 minutes – the fastest round in Euro Tour history.
On the LPGA Tour, Madeline Sagstrom won the inaugural Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Raton tournament. She beat Nasa Hataoki by a stroke.
