At the inaugural CJ Cup at New Bridges in South Korea, Justin Thomas again put on display his ability to find the winner’s circle. Thomas took down Marc Leishman on the 2nd playoff hole with a birdie to win his 7th PGA Tour victory and his 5th of this calendar year.

Sergio Garcia hosted the Andalucia Valderrama event in Spain. He also took home first place by posting a -12 to win by 1 stroke over Joost Luiten.

The LPGA Tour was in Taipei where Eun-Hee Ji won the Swinging Skirts LPGA Taiwan Championship by 6 strokes over Lydia Ko.

Bernhard Langer won the first of the three Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs. He beat Scott Verplank by dropping an eagle on the last hole to win by 1 stroke at the Dominion Energy Charity Classic.
