| This golf course
has fairways that were built on rolling and fairly hilly terrain,
so you can expect many uneven lies throughout your round. The
greens are undulating and well protected by sand bunkers. Most
fairways are lined with pine trees. There are four holes that
require shots over water hazards, and ten other holes where
water hazards come into play. There are two additional golf
courses at St. James: The Members
Club and The Players
Club. The signature 17th hole is a 440 yard par 4,requiring
a tee shot to travel up a slightly dogleg right fairway,with
an approach shot over a marsh to a small well bunkered green. |
